Teaching from Home

Transitioning from teaching in a traditional classroom to online facilitation can be a challenge. We have put together a resource for schools, administrators, and teachers to use as a guide in making the transition as smooth as possible. Even if you find only pieces useful for your own context, we hope you will find this resource helpful as we all work to maintain relationships and continue to provide high quality educational experiences in our new online settings.

When teachers are equipped with tools and students are equipped with access, we can reunite the rich relationship between teaching and learning. Many students do not have the access needed to continue learning from home. We can address this issue, but it must happen through a collective approach.  The Learning Lab Collective invites school faculty, community programs, and anyone with an interest in education to pull our resources and human capital together to offer innovative, yet practical, solutions for facilitating engaging online learning for all.

In the resource linked below, you will find suggestions for schools on how to go about implementing an online learning plan.  Use as little or as much as you find meets the needs of your unique teachers and students. Let’s use this as an opportunity to connect teachers to students in ways we have never done before.
